New features in Music Creator 7 ► Virtual on-screen keyboard controller

Do one of the following:

Go to Views > Virtual Controller/Keyboard.
Click the track’s Input control, point to Virtual Controller, then select the desired input channel (Omni or 1-16).
Note: If you do not see the Input control, click the Advanced button at the top of the Track pane. For more information, see Advanced track controls. Also, make sure you have expanded the track fully by dragging it down.

Click the Octave Down button to scroll down one octave, or the Octave Up button to scroll up one octave.
Click the Hold button or press the TAB key.
To ensure that the Virtual Controller responds to keystrokes, click the Take All Keystrokes button , or press the CAPS LOCK key.

Click the Take All Keystrokes button , or press the CAPS LOCK key.

Click the 1-5 buttons, or press the 1-5 keys. The keys correspond to the modulation strength (1=OFF and 5=Max).

Click the Take All Keystrokes button , or press the CAPS LOCK key.

Click the VELOCITY UP or VELOCITY DOWN buttons, or press the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW key.
